Owner knows English. Nice, wooded, semi private campsites. Petting farm was enjoyed by our daughter. Have recommended this campground to friends/family.
My wife and I initially had some reservations when booking in this campground after looking at other reviews and their website. Upon arriving we slightly concerned about the size of our site. We were in site #2, it was quite small but had a primo location and view over the river. After setting up our 8 person tent we quickly oriented ourselves on the site and our initial concerns melted away. We had plenty of space and a decent amount of privacy. The river was great for swimming with a little sand beach and clean refreshing water. Staff were very friendly and helpful but for those of you (like us) where your French is a little rusty please note the staffers English is minimal. We communicated with them enough to know where we needed to go and the basic campground rules. The campground was fairly quiet at night but we didnt feel out of place having a few late beers and laughs by the campfire after 10 pm. The bathroom situation is crappy (pun intended). Although the bathroom with clean they often had lines ups. And forgot about having a shower between 7pm and 10 pm. This park would greatly benefit from a few more bathrooms. The petite ferme was a cool addition that our daughter loved. We would definitely go back to this campground. The area around Baie Stainte Paul is absolutely beautiful.
Booked this morning, called 5 min after booking to cancel due to the fact that we had just received a call from hospital telling us that my father in law's health had worsen dramatically and was not responding to medication. The lady at the camp ground could not feel any sympathie and kept our deposit saying that they are not responsible for the health situation. i will never go back to this camp ground.
Great clean camp ground. Easy access and to find. Will definitely return.
Beau camping en gnral, beau parc pour enfant, belle rivire pour le kayak, mais... Une attente interminable pour l'enregistrement qui est aussi la caisse du dpaneur. Surtout qu'une autre employe tournait en rond, mais n'a pas daign ouvrir la deuxime caisse malgr la dizaine de clients qui faisaient la file. Les rglements ne sont appliqus que pour certains... Mon conjoint s'est fait avertir car il tait en vlo 20h05 alors que le rglement stipule que les vlos sont interdits aprs 20h. Il en profite pour mentionner que nous sommes drangs depuis 3 jours par un groupe qui coute de la musique sans arrt assez fort pour qu'elle soit entendue 5 terrains plus loin et ce jusque tard la nuit quand les rglements mentionnent que la musique ne doit pas tre entendue des voisins et que le couvre-feu est 23h. Eux n'ont reu aucun avertissement... Ils ont mme pouss jusqu' faire des feux d'artifices mme si le rglement l'interdit et personne n'est mme venu voir. Alors c'est clair que les rglements ne sont pas pour tout le monde...
