Great location. We were situated in the main building. 2 buildings here. The walls seemed a bit flimsy. Could hear the people next door and was always trying to be careful not to make much noise. Comfy beds, clean linens and bath. Fridge. Decking and chairs outside our room. Were able to have a nice meal with the contents of out picnic basket. Breakfast was more ample than expected. Could sit out on the front, very large porch and eat out. Wi-fi was low and sketchy. Go and sit in the main building.
Location is really great and it is mainly why it gets 3 stars. The rooms in the Cormoran building look like small motel rooms (that means cheap). We were told we had a room giving on the garden, big surprise when we found out it gave directly on concrete and swimming pool. Luckily, the pool was not opened yet. Else I would have been super pissed!! Brunch is good.
Friendly and welcoming. No issue with our limited French language. Very clean, comfortable and quaint rooms and reasonably priced. Onsite restaurant serves great food with a limited menu. Only wine & beer. After a long drive were looking forward to our martinis. Nope. Nice area to walk around with the Bay Area and the tides.
This is my first bad review on Google but this place is the WORST! They claimed to have a pool but it wasnt working. Same for WIFI. The older lady at the front desk was very rude. And, when we went to check out, they charged us $40 for extra linen and towels that they did NOT provide. Find somewhere else!
Quiet, clean and well-equipped rooms. It's a little on the pricey side of things, but the location is amazing (walk to the beach in a few minutes) and the rooms were probably the nicest I've ever seen for a motel. Breakfast is included (American-style breakfast buffet with more options than the usual chain hotel).
